TITANIC FAST FACTS
It was on this very same date (April 10), a hundred years ago (1912), Wednesday from 9:30-11:30am more than 2,200 people boarded the so-called ship of dreams and dubbed by many as “unsinkable”, the White Star Line RMS Titanic. On noon, the huge ship “eased into the harbour channel of Southampton in England”. It was a fascinating scene, the people on the dock waved on the passengers aboard the Titanic who also waved back to them.
It was the biggest ship, the unsinkable, the luxurious, in a few days it will shock the world…
